For everyone who just can’t decide between the Andes Mountains, the coast, or the Amazon Rainforest (we couldn’t decide either), we created the roundtrips to show you all of the three worlds in one majestic trip. In a group you will marvel at the breathtaking Andes Mountains around Quito. The city of Baños is the perfect place to discover what the rainforest has to offer, as it is located in the midst of the lush green and its vast array of sights, including the Devil’s Cauldron waterfall.
Depending on the round trip you choose, you will, for examlpe, get the chance to see Mindo, Cuenca, or Tena. Mindo is a small but exciting destination located close to the Cloud Forest. Lots of activities, such as horseback riding and ziplining await you here. Cuenca gives an insight into the past of Ecuador’s interesting history: some Incan Ruins remind the visitors of what once was a mighty empire stretching its wings all the way to Ecuador. In Tena, we will take canoes to travel down the Napo River and visit a museum that educates about the Kichwas indigenous people (don’t miss out on trying a blow gun used for hunting yourself).
The coast is covered by either traveling to Mompiche or Montañita. The latter is a lively beach town visited by locals and travelers alike, making it an ideal place for a great nightlife or relaxation on the beach. On your way to Mompiche you will have the chance to visit the Tsachilas indigenous people. A small excursion to Playa Negra - a beach with black sand - is also included in this option.
If you feel like giving back to the community, you should consider one of our 20 days travel and eco-tourism packages. This way you can combine a trip around Ecuador and the undescribable feeling of volunteering and doing some good while traveling, such as organic farming. You will also learn some Spanish during your stay. Truly packages that offer it all!
